In case Terrifier 3’s Christmas-themed chaos wasn’t enough for you, there’s another indie holiday thriller hitting our screens soon, and it’ll make you just as afraid of Santa Claus as Art the Clown. FANGORIA is excited to premiere the trailer for He Sees You When You’re Sleeping, about what happens when a rich family goes up against (what else?) a killer Santa bent on revenge.

Set in the shoulder-padded, neon-filled excess of the 1980s, He See You When You’re Sleeping follows Chester as he returns to the home of his wealthy and deeply over-privileged family, something he hasn’t done in a long time for fairly obvious reasons. Family holidays are a slog even at the best of times, for sure, but seeing your parents murdered on Christmas certainly kills the vibe too.

But it’s not just bad booze and questions about when he’s going to settle down that Chester has to worry about: lurking in the shadows is a killer dressed as Santa Claus, slowly picking off family members one by one. Can Chester stop whoever’s out for his family’s blood in search of their massive fortune? Or will succumb to his own trauma and be next in line to be slayed? (And not in the jolly way!)

The holiday slasher features two horror icons alongside stars Nellie Spackman and David Lenik: Nicholas Vince, best known as the Chattering Cenobite from the first two Hellraiser films, and Caroline Williams, who featured in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 as Stretch, and also recently appeared in the Nicolas Cage vampire comedy Renfield. The film is directed by Charlie Steeds, from a script by Lenik, and also features Peyton Michelle Edwards, Tom Malloy, and Lauren-Marie Taylor. Shaked Berenson (Slaxx, Mean Spirited, Sea Fever) executive produced.

He Sees You When You’re Sleeping hits digital and on-demand platforms on November 1. Check out the exclusive trailer below:
