With the success of video game films like Resident Evil, even more studios are getting in on the game, and this time there’s a recognizable name behind it. Deadline reports that Scarlet Stallone, Tulsa King star and daughter of Sylvester Stallone, is producing film and TV adaptations of the popular anthology game Fears to Fathom.

Stallone will produce under her SRYN Productions label, with game creator Rayll (real name Mukul Negi) also involved. The video game series centers around several standalone psychological horror games, inspired not by anything supernatural but by “frightening real-life experiences,” per Deadline.

“I’ve been playing video games since before I could read, and the first time I played Fears to Fathom, I was hooked. I’ve played every one since,” Stallone said to Deadline. “Rayll’s games are grounded and genuinely unsettling, because the horror comes from situations that could actually happen to you. I love working with Rayll; we’re a great team, and I’m so excited to expand that world while keeping what fans love.”

The series currently features six distinct single-player games: Home Alone, Norwood Hitchhike, Carson House, Ironbark Lookout, Woodbury Getaway, and Scratch Creek, each of which follow their own unique protagonist. New co-op versions are also being released under the banner Fears to Fathom [Together], with a version of Scratch Creek launching back in June.

“I started Fears to Fathom as a very personal project, so seeing how far it has grown and how strongly people around the world have connected with these stories has been surreal,” Rayll said. “Scarlet immediately understood that what makes Fears to Fathom work isn’t just the scares — it’s the feeling that these situations could happen to anyone. I’m excited to work with her and SRYN Productions to bring that same tension and authenticity to a new medium.”

No release date has been announced for a Fears to Fathom adaptation. Stay tuned to FANGORIA for more updates.
