Nobody does merch like A24 (just look at the Midsommar incense holder or the Talk to Me, err, incense holder), but this time they might have outdone themselves. You can now celebrate the one year anniversary of Ti West's already-iconic X prequel Pearl with the "Pearl Anniversary Suckling Piggy Bank" - which is just as creepy as it sounds!

Pearl, starring scream queen legend Mia Goth, was a huge hit last year, expanding on the origin story of the murderous elderly slasher from the sleazefest X. Just incase you haven't seen it (or need a refresher, a year is a long time in horror world after all), Pearl's plot synopsis reads:

Trapped on an isolated farm, Pearl must tend to her ailing father under the watch of her mother. Lusting for the glamorous life she's seen in movies, Pearl's temptations and repressions collide.

Pearl was a bonafide hit among fans, spanning a ton of "she's literally me" memes and firmly cementing Goth as a true talent thanks to her heartbreaking monologue and creepy, desperate smile during Pearl's credits. The poor little piggy now immortalized in ceramic was a particularly icky set piece that represented Pearl's descent into madness and the decay of her morality. Here it is in all its delightful, maggot-covered glory:

Any good horror fan by now of course knows that a third film in the Pearl-iverse is en route with MaXXXine, which Goth has teased is "the best movie of the three" and that Maxine will go on some "pretty wild adventures". We don't doubt it! While MaXXXine does not yet have a release date, we do have a totally bonkers cast list that includes Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, Bobby Cannavale, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Giancarlo Esposito and Halsey.
