We’re all excited for Jeremy Saulnier’s newest film, Slayground, and Alamo Drafthouse has the perfect way to celebrate. This Halloween, they’re rereleasing Green Room, Saulnier’s third film, for its tenth anniversary, accompanied by some killer exclusive menu items and other treats.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the screening on October 30 will be accompanied by a new interview with Saulnier, along with stars Alia Shawkat and Macon Blair, as well as SFX artist Mike Fontaine. Attendees will also get a free popcorn bucket themed after Slayground, and have access to an exclusive themed menu and a special A24 giveaway.
Also starring Imogen Poots, Callum Turner, Patrick Stewart, and the late Anton Yelchin, Green Room follows a punk band who end up facing off with neo-Nazi skinheads after they accidentally witness a murder, putting them right in the group’s sights. The film was the last of Yelchin’s to be released during his lifetime, and is largely considered a cult hit among horror fans.

Menu items fans can order during the anniversary screening include the Cowcatcher Loaded Mac, a special mac and cheese featuring sriracha sour cream, ground beef, onions, and mushrooms; the Ain’t Right Pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, and ranch dressing; and the Metal Marg, made with tequila, Midori melon, pineapple, lime, and agave.
“Jeremy Saulnier is one of the most exciting filmmakers working today, with a knack for turning ordinary situations into white-knuckle occasions,” says Drafthouse’s Jake Isgar. “His movies are visceral, relentless, and packed with the kind of tension that hits even harder on the big screen. We’re thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Green Room with a special screening, an exclusive giveaway, and a menu of punk-inspired bites and cocktails. Just remember to unclench your jaw before the credits roll.”
Green Room’s tenth anniversary screenings take place at select Alamo Drafthouse locations across the country on October 30. For more information, you can check out their website.
