BloodStream, the horror, thriller, and sci-fi streaming platform built by genre fans and creators, will premiere Video Vixen, the new feature co-directed by Erin Brown and Victor Bonacore, and we've got all the details and an exclusive trailer for the provocative new slasher right here.
Described as “a bold collision of erotic underground cinema and contemporary influencer culture”, Video Vixen marks a major return for Brown, the iconic horror performer known to audiences worldwide as Misty Mundae.
In Video Vixen, Brown stars as Kitty Video, an online performer who, alongside her partner Cam, produces staged “snuff-style” fetish content for a loyal online audience:
Their work thrives on illusion. But when their quiet town of Silver Springs is overrun by attention-hungry influencers chasing viral fame, Kitty decides illusion is no longer enough. As the holiday season descends, performance turns to obsession. The violence escalates. The camera never stops rolling. What begins as manufactured depravity becomes something far more dangerous as Kitty blurs the boundary between fiction and reality, spectacle and truth. And as the body count rises, one question lingers: when everything is content, does anyone care if it’s real?
Following its BloodStream premiere on May 1, 2026, Video Vixen will have a wider streaming rollout to follow from August 1, with Studio Dome taking exclusive rights to the film.
Brown, who also co-produced Video Vixen said she is “intoxicated by the notion of our movies being injected into the BloodStream. I hope it's contagious!”, with Bonacore adds that he is “Ecstatic to have my streaming cherry popped with BloodStream, it's an honor to be chosen by one of the new platforms of indie horror and beyond.
