Stranger Things might be over but the Duffer Brothers aren't slowing down, with today bringing the first teaser trailer for The Boroughs, created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews (The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim) and hitting Netflix next month.
Previously described by Matt and Ross Duffer as “the show [they'd] been dreaming of“, The Boroughs stars Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, Clarke Peters and Bill Pullman as a retirement community who uncover a dark secret after a grieving newcomer (Molina) joins their midst. Molina plays Sam Cooper, who is experiencing something of an existential crisis after recently losing his wife. Meet the community in today's new teaser:

Also starring are Jena Malone, Carlos Mirand, Seth Numrich, Alice Kremelberg, Rafael Casal, Ed Begley Jr., Jane Kaczmarek, Eric Edelstein, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Beth Bailey, and scream queen Dee Wallace
The 8-part series includes episodes directed by Ben Taylor (Sex Education), Augustine Frizzell (Euphoria) and Kyle Patrick Alvarez (The Stanford Prison Experiment).
Following the end of Stranger Things late last year, the Duffers have been keeping busy. Aside from The Boroughs, the pair also serve as executive producers on the currently-streaming Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, Haley Z. Boston's wedding horror series that premieres on March 26, as well as the animated series Tales from '85, the first Stranger Things spinoff coming on April 23.
The Boroughs hits Netflix on May 21.
