Is your family worth dying for? Would you keep a terrible secret in the middle of the apocalypse in order to keep them safe? That’s the question being asked by Párvulos: Children of the Apocalypse, a new Spanish language film set to hit theaters tomorrow. Ahead of its release, FANGORIA is excited to premiere an exclusive clip from the new film, featuring its three young stars dealing with a gnarly problem.
The post-apocalyptic film directed by Isaac Exban stars Farid Escalante Correa, Leonardo Cervantes, Mateo Ortega Casillas, Carla Adell, Noé Hernández, and previously screened at Sitges International Film Festival, Fantasia Fest, and Fantastic Fest. Its logline is as follows:
In a dystopian future ravaged by a viral apocalypse, three young brothers—Salvador, Oliver, and Benjamin—find themselves isolated in a remote cabin deep within the woods. As they navigate this desolate world, they harbor a dark and disturbing secret in their basement, a presence they must feed to ensure their own survival.
Our exclusive clip features the three brothers at home in their isolated cabin, when the youngest discovers a problem out in the front yard: one of the desiccated, hanged bodies they have suspended from several trees has fallen down. The three string it right back up, with only a minor hiccup as the youngest has trouble tying the knot to keep it aloft. The question of whether it will remain that way, though, is anybody’s guess.
Párvulos: Children of the Apocalypse hits theaters tomorrow, April 4. Check out the exclusive clip below:
