Angry Orchard Cider has teamed with the folks behind Scream for a special Halloween experience in New York City, and they’re bringing an original star with them. The alcohol brand is opening Angry Orchard Video in Manhattan this October, where original Ghostface Skeet Ulrich will make an appearance to promote their new Thriller Variety Pack.
Angry Orchard Video is a ‘90s-inspired video store that celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of Scream, featuring hard cider tastings, exclusive merchandise, and photo opportunities and experiences inspired by the film. Each visitor (21 and older) will also receive a customizable membership card featuring their photo that will help guide them through the experience.
Ulrich will make an appearance at the pop-up to celebrate the launch of Mystery Caller, Angry Orchard’s new Ghostface-inspired cider that comes as a part of their annual Halloween variety pack.

“Part of the magic of Scream was the time it came from, when going to the video store was part of the experience,” says Ulrich. “It's been incredible to see how different generations continue to connect with the franchise, and Angry Orchard Video brings fans back to that era while giving them a chance to step into the world of Scream in a completely new way.”
The new Thriller Variety Pack features glow-in-the-dark packaging that reveals Ghostface and Scream’s iconic line, “What’s your favorite scary movie?” In addition to the new Mystery Caller flavor, the pack also features their new Caramel Apple Curse flavor, along with the returning flavors of Blood Orange and Headless Pumpkin.
“Scream is incredibly nostalgic for so many fans, and as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise, we wanted to bring that ‘90s nostalgia to every part of this collaboration,” says Angry Orchard’s John Dorman. “From the VHS-inspired artwork on the Thriller Variety Pack to Angry Orchard Video, we’re bringing fans back to a time when picking out your next scary movie was just as memorable as watching it.”
Angry Orchard Video will be open in New York City from October 2-3. For more information and to reserve a spot, you can check out the event’s website.
