Wes Craven’s meta-horror masterpiece Scream turns a whopping thirty years old this year, and to celebrate, Regal Cinemas has partnered with one of the franchise’s biggest icons to bring it back to the big screen. The theater chain is partnering with Matthew Lillard as he embarks on his Ghost Face Vodka tour to screen the film at select Regals this month, with the original Ghostface himself in attendance for Q&As and more.
Texas fans will have the opportunity to see Scream on the big screen in Dallas (September 13), Houston (September 14), and Austin (September 15), with Lillard appearing after the film for a Q&A and to take fan questions. The tour coincides with his launch of his company Find Familiar Spirits partnering with Total Wine & More to bring Ghost Face Vodka to retail shelves after it sold out in less than an hour online.
Lillard will also be appearing at Total Wine stores in Dallas, Arlington, Baybrook, The Woodlands, Lakeline, and Mueller for in-store meet and greets, where guests will be able to taste the new vodka, get their bottles signed, try samples of Find Familiar cocktails, and more.
“Can’t wait to bring Ghost Face Vodka to Texas and launch it alongside the movie that started it all, the original Scream,” says Lillard. “We’re hoping fans come out to celebrate a classic and leave having discovered a new one.”
