First announced back in 2024, the long-awaited Alien: Isolation sequel is officially go, with a first look straight out Summer Games Fest:

From developer Creative Assembly and Sega, Alien: Isolation 2 looks like it'll be taking the action out of space and onto terra firma – exactly where this mysterious planet is remains to be seen.
Published by Sega for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, Alien: Isolation was a massive, award-winning success and sold over 2 million copies in its first year alone. Considered one of the scariest horror games of all time, Isolation is set 15 years after Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic original Alien, and follows Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda as she searches the wreck of a Xenomorph-infested space station for her missing mother.
While fans have long begged for an Alien: Isolation sequel, the project was originally not deemed financially feasible. Possibly due to the success of other horror game remakes such as Capcom's hugely successful Resident Evil redos and Bloober and Konami's Silent Hill 2 remake, it seems Sega had a change of heart.
Stay tuned for more on Alien: Isolation 2 as we get it.
