Despite ending its theatrical run as a box office bomb, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple looks set to be one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2026, setting the bar for the year high following its January release.

Nia DaCosta (Candyman) takes the reigns for the follow-up to Danny Boyle's 28 Years Later, with Ralph Fiennes, Alfie Williams and Jack O'Connell returning to star as survivors of the Rage Virus that ravaged Britain almost three decades prior.

While Sony has officially given the greenlight to the third film in the trilogy, the poor financial reception might mean it's on shaky ground. One way us horror fans can show up for the film and help to ensure that Sony doesn't get cold feet is to grab yourself a physical copy.

Pre-order 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple here for an April 21 release.
