While we're in the middle of a monster movie renaissance, Synapse Films is throwing it back to the cult classics with a shiny new limited edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray release of Frank Henenlotter's 1990 horror-comedy Frankenhooker.
Newly restored in 4K from the uncut original 35mm vault materials with Dolby Vision and a newly remastered 5.1 surround sound mix (the original 2.0 audio mix is also included), Synapse's new exclusive side-loading chipboard slipcase edition of ofย Frankenhooker ย is limited to 5000 units, and is now available to pre-order for April 7 release.

When Jeffrey Frankenโs fiancรฉe (Mullen) is chopped to pieces by the blades of a remote-controlled lawnmower, he uses his dubious medical knowledge to try to bring her back to life. Using his home-made explosive โSuper Crackโ to entice beautiful New York City prostitutes, Jeffrey resurrects his beloved Elizabeth using their assorted body parts. Unfortunately for him, Elizabethโs brain is scrambled and she runs amok on 42nd Street, turning tricks and bringing high-voltage death to her customers!
