Get Out and Nope star Daniel Kaluuya is reportedly in talks for the lead role in Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel, an upcoming sci-fi thriller from Michael Shanks (Together) and A24.
Per Deadline, who reported the news earlier today, Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel follows a man who wakes up trapped in a mysterious hotel room. All alone in a mind-bending prison, his only chance for escape is teamwork — with himself.
Shanks' Together, starring IRL couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco, was a hit last year, following codependent lovers who move to the country, abandoning all that is familiar in their lives except each other. With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural foe threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh (lots and lots of flesh, we'll add). NEON reportedly paid $17 million to acquire the body horror pic out of Sundance following its debut in January 2025, and Together went on to rack up a pretty solid box office result.
Kaluuya of course has secured himself a spot in the modern horror scream king hall of fame with his Academy Award-nominated performance in Jordan Peele's psychological horror Get Out and his turn in Peele's sci-fi alien epic Nope. Those of us who knew him back when he was Posh Kenneth in Skins will also remember his role in the particularly dystopian episode ‘Fifteen Million Merits' from Black Mirror, and we're excited to see him get back to our favorite genre.
Per Deadline, Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel will be produced by Mike Cowap and Emma Fitzsimmons of Princess Pictures and Adam McKay and Todd Schulman of HyperObject Industries. No further news to report just yet.
