Netflix's TUDUM 2025 event is in full swing, bringing a first look at one of the most anticipated titles on the streamer's slate for the second half of the year, Wednesday Season 2.
Hitting the streamer in two parts, Wednesday Season 2's first four episodes will premiere on August 6, while the second part, also consisting of four episodes, is due to premiere on September 3.
In the Tim Burton-produced hit series, Jenna Ortega returns as Wednesday, as well a returning series regulars Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), Emma Myers (Enid), Joy Sunday (Bianca), Doohan (Tyler), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams) and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Ritchie Santiago).
Also joining the second season are Mother Monster herself Lady Gaga (performing at TUDUM tonight in what is sure to be a suitably spooky show), Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Haley Joel Osment and Steve Buscemi, as well as Billie Piper, Thandiwe Newton, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor.
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return as writers and showrunners, with Burton executive producing and directing four episodes.
Season 1 of the record-breaking show saw Wednesday grapple with life at the Nevermore Academy, not only dealing with all the usual stresses of teenage life but also having to chase a crazed killer. This season, Wednesday must navigate family (the entire Addams clan has enrolled at the Academy!), friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem
Scream queen Ortega has previously teased that Wednesday's second season is set to lean way more into horror, previously teasing that one episode follows a slasher formula, with Carrie and Prom Night also serving as inspiration for this go-round at the Nevermore Academy.
