Whatโs up, Losers? Hope all my fellow Americans survived their Thanksgiving and Black Friday one-two punch and now that youโve all overloaded on mashed potatoes and turkey and your wallet is empty from all the sales that youโre ready to see more kids get munched on in the brand new episode of IT: Welcome to Derry.
My faithful co-host Anthony Breznican and I are back to walk yโall through the new episode, titled In the Name of the Father, and focused on setting up the mysterious Bob Gray alter ego of Pennywise.ย
Speaking of, it should be noted that now that the genieโs out of the bottle weโre getting a steady drip of Bill Skarsgard. Heโs back in fine form and my boy is so hungry.
Amidst the clown chaos we have some sweet moments between the โ60s Losers, including a meet-cute over a gnarly injury and a selfless act of defiance from an unexpected member of the group.
All the while the racist pressure cooker is steadily creeping up as the hunt for Hank Grogan intensifies. All roads lead to The Black Spot and if you know the Stephen King book you know thatโs not going to end well for anybody.ย
Once again Breznican and I are there to dissect the episode, offer some theories, and point out some subtle King connections with the new podcast: Watching IT: Welcome to Derry.
You have a couple of options to tune into Watching IT: Welcome to Derry and hear me and Brez breaking all this down. Check out the show on YouTube and see our pretty little faces below:

Or go the traditional podcast route and listen with your earholes.
As usual, big thanks to Watching It: Welcome to Derryโs sponsor Blackmagic Design, the creators of the equipment actually used to make some of your favorite recent genre offerings, like Final Destination Bloodlines, Longlegs, and even Andy Muschiettiโs IT films.
Enjoy this weekโs show and weโll see yโall next week!
