What’s up, Losers? Hope all my fellow Americans survived their Thanksgiving and Black Friday one-two punch and now that you’ve all overloaded on mashed potatoes and turkey and your wallet is empty from all the sales that you’re ready to see more kids get munched on in the brand new episode of IT: Welcome to Derry.
My faithful co-host Anthony Breznican and I are back to walk y’all through the new episode, titled In the Name of the Father, and focused on setting up the mysterious Bob Gray alter ego of Pennywise.
Speaking of, it should be noted that now that the genie’s out of the bottle we’re getting a steady drip of Bill Skarsgard. He’s back in fine form and my boy is so hungry.
Amidst the clown chaos we have some sweet moments between the ‘60s Losers, including a meet-cute over a gnarly injury and a selfless act of defiance from an unexpected member of the group.
All the while the racist pressure cooker is steadily creeping up as the hunt for Hank Grogan intensifies. All roads lead to The Black Spot and if you know the Stephen King book you know that’s not going to end well for anybody.
