It turns out that we havenโt seen the last of Tobin Bellโs Jigsaw! The man who brought the devious John Kramer to life in the Saw franchise is returning to the role he is most famous for once again. Only this time, he will be terrorizing people in real life as part of Saw: The Experience, which is opening later this month in London. Let the games begin.
Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have partnered with The Path Entertainment Group for the immersive experience, which will be set up at 1 America Square in London. The hook, as revealed by the companies today, is that Bell is voicing Jigsaw as part of Saw: The Experience, which will make the whole thing feel authentic. Theyโve even released a trailer to offer a taste of whatโs to come. Check it out.
So, what is this, exactly? The installation is an immersive theatrical experience combined with escape room style challenges. Those who dare to play the game will be split into teams of up to six people who will work together to complete challenges and explore multiple rooms to test themselves and others. The experience lasts a full 90 minutes, plus there is a themed bar at the end of it all called The Traproom. So it could easily be a full night of fun with Jigsaw.
The Traproom is described as a themed bar experience based on Jigsawโs workshop, and features a collection of some of his most legendary traps throughout the films franchise. Players will be able to unwind from the horrors they have endured with a selection of drinks created specifically for the experience.

Getting Bell to return for the event is not at all insignificant. Dating back to director James Wanโs original Saw, the man has anchored the vast majority of the $1 billion horror franchise through nine entries. It wasnโt until last yearโs Spiral: From the Book of Saw that the series truly tried to move beyond him. Be that as it may, this series is inherently tied to Jigsaw, much in the way that A Nightmare on Elm Street is tied to Freddy, or Halloween is tied to Michael Myers.
Now, have we truly seen the last of John Kramer on screen? While his return seems wildly unlikely, we do know that Saw 10 is coming our way next year. Will it be more of a sequel to Spiral, or something else entirely? More importantly, could that pave the way for Bellโs return? All we can do is speculate, but for now, those lucky enough to be in London this month will have the chance to experience Jigsawโs return in person.
Saw: The Experience opens October 27. Full details can be found at SawTheExperience.com.
