The Universal Monsters are emerging from their crypts for another year of Halloween haunting โ€” this time, in toy form. FANGORIA is excited to partner with CultureFly to help reveal their new Monster Mosh collection, a set of nine-inch figures featuring everybodyโ€™s favorite ghouls designed by artist Matthew Lineham, which will make their debut at this yearโ€™s New York Comic Con.

The four-pack of collectible figures features Dracula, Frankenstein and his Bride, and the Gill Man as a โ€˜70s era punk band, complete with Ramones-esque outfits and instruments, including a keytar for good olโ€™ Drac. The neon figures will be exclusively available to preorder at CultureFlyโ€™s booth at NYCC, before they hit shelves on October 9. Also released are two original songs to soundtrack the Monster Mosh bandโ€™s look, written by Kevin Preston and available now wherever you stream your music.

The figures accompany Linehamโ€™s extensive body of work, which includes collaborations with The Cure, Duran Duran, Blondie, and AC/DC, as well as film and TV icons like Elvira, and fanart of plenty more music and movie icons besides. (This author has had his Adam Ant print on her wall for years!)

โ€œI grew up obsessed with Universal Monsters and punk rockโ€”two worlds that always felt destined to collide,โ€ Lineham said. โ€œIโ€™ve carried that spirit since I was a kid paging through monster-makeup books and blasting The Clash and Rancid. After three years of work, Monster Mosh brings those loves together in a way my younger self would be proud of.โ€

Fans who visit CultureFlyโ€™s New York Comic Con booth will also be able to snap a photo with standees of Frankenstein and his bride, as well as sign up for updates on individual Monster Mosh figuresโ€™ release, as well as apparel, pop-ups, and more.

CultureFly and Matthew Linehamโ€™s new Universal Monsters figures will be available online beginning on October 9. Check them out down below:
