Speak No Evil stars James McAvoy (Split, Glass), Mackenzie Davies (Terminator: Dark Fate, Halt and Catch Fire), Scoot McNairy (A Quiet Place: Part II, Monsters) and Aisling Franciosi (The Fall, Stopmotion) as two sets of couples from different continents, with very different ideas of what makes for a fun vacation:
When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
Watkins, who directed Eden Lake and The Woman in Black, adapts Christian and Mads Tafdrup’s original Speak No Evil screenplay.

Originally slated for an August 9 release, Universal previously announced the date was being pushed to a (very appropriate) Friday, September 13 theatrical release.
