First foot fetishists, now anti-fascists – the good folks at Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting are making sure they're speaking everyone's language with the marketing for Silent Night, Deadly Night. To get you extra hyped for the upcoming festive slasher, hitting theaters on December 12, you can now watch one of the movie's standout set pieces, in which a Santa suited-psycho (Rohan Campbell) goes on a bloody rampage against Nazis, on a loop for 48 hours.
Campbell (Halloween Ends) stars alongside Ruby Modine in Mike P. Nelson's (Wrong Turn) new take on Charles Sellier Jr.'s 1984 cult classic, which follows:
When Billy witnesses his parentsโ grisly murder on Christmas Eve at the hands of Santa, it ignites a lifelong mission to spread holiday fear. Every Christmas, he dons the jolly red suit and delivers a blood-soaked massacre to feed his twisted sense of justice. This Christmas Eve, Billy wants to know: โHave you been naughty?โ (and we expect if you're angling for the feet pics, then the answer is a resounding โYes')
Scott J. Schneid and Dennis Whitehead, executive producers of the original Silent Night, Deadly Night are producing, with Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson also starring in the holiday horror.
Now, you might be thinking, “I don't remember the originalย Silent Night, Deadly Nightย having Nazis in it?” Well, that's because it didn't. But for our money, any remake that newly adds Nazis getting their asses (and assorted other limbs) handed to them is a solid one.
