The hellish games continue for poor Samara Weaving in the new trailer for Radio Silence'sย Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, hitting theaters on March 20.
The sequel to 2019 horror-comedyย Ready or Not sees scream queen Weaving return to the role as Grace Le Domas who, in the first film, survived a time-honored family tradition at the home of her new husband (Mark O'Brien), that quickly turned into a lethal game of kill or be killed.
Joining the fun this time around are fellow scream queen Kathryn Newton, the Slayer herself Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, David Cronenberg (yes, that David Cronenberg), Sean Hatosy, Nรฉstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand and Olivia Cheng.
An official logline forย Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, written by Scream 7‘s Guy Busick and Christopher Murphy, reads as follows:
Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Weaving) discovers sheโs reached the next level of the nightmarish game โ and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Newton) at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.
Speaking with People previously, Radio Silence, aka Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, teased that Ready or Not 2 โgoes hand in hand with the first in an unexpected yet seamless wayโ, adding:
โItโs exciting to see Grace into a new fโed-up situation that deepens her story and her character, and we wanted to make sure that this movie wasnโt just more of the same [โฆ] We put a ton of love into this movie to make it a worthy sequel that weโre hoping fans of the first movie โ and people who are getting to know Grace for the first time โ will really love. We never dreamed Ready or Not would connect with people the way it has over the past few years and feel so honored to get to step back into Graceโs world,โ
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will have its World Premiere at SXSW before going wide in theaters on March 20. Check out the new trailer below, and for more, here's all the other horror movies we're excited for still to come in 2026.
