The Twisted Childhood Universe (aka the ‘Poohniverse‘) continues to grow, with the once-lovable lost boy Peter Pan getting his own tale from Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studio and director Scott Jeffrey in Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare.
Releasing in theaters for three days only from January 13, 2025 until January 15, 2025 via Iconic Events Releasing, Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare follows:
[…] Wendy Darling as she strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from the clutches of the evil Peter Pan who intends to send him to Neverland. Along the way she meets a twisted Tinkerbell, who is hooked on what she thinks is fairy dust.
Starring in Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare are Megan Placito (The Salt Path) as Wendy Darling, Martin Portlock (Britainโs Got Talent) as Peter Pan, Kit Green (Dragonโs Dogma 2 ) as Tinkerbell, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Popeโs Exorcist, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2) as Michael, Kierston Wareing (Fish Tank, Itโs A Free World, The Holding) as Roxy and with Nicholas Woodeson (Skyfall) as Steven.
Peter Pan joins Winnie-the-Pooh, Mickey Mouse, Bambi, Popeye the Sailor Man, Pinocchio and Cinderella as public domain children's characters warped into something twisted for the sake of horror cinema.
In a previous interview with Bloody Disgusting, Jeffrey teased that Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare is pretty damn nasty:
This is tonally an extremely darker film to Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey. When dealing with children being abducted, it felt right. All of the films from our Poohniverse will feel different from the last. So, if one isnโt for you, then maybe the next will be. Peter Pan is the most vicious of them all. He is twisted, cruel and cunning.โ
Tickets for Peter Panโs Neverland Nightmare can be purchased online at Iconic Events Releasing or at participating theaters, starting December 18, 2024. Check out the new trailer and poster below.
