It's been 15 years since Eli Roth dropped Thanksgiving, the fake trailer attached to Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse - and today we finally have a real trailer for the very real Thanksgiving movie coming on November 17.

The holiday horror stars Patrick Dempsey, Nell Verlaque, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim, Gina Gershon, Tim Dillon and Rick Hoffman. Yes, that Patrick Dempsey and that TikTok star Addison Rae. The plot synopsis keeps plenty of mystery, but does reveal that:

After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the infamous holiday.

The trailer teases an updated Thanksgiving, leaving behind the grimy Grindhouse-aesthetic for something far more polished, but the new trailer suggests that many of the most beloved parts of the original have made it into the full feature - such as the trampolining cheerleader (yay!)

Thanksgiving's new trailer also teases some grizzly kills and will surely not be holding back on the gore - which is to be expected from a certified gorehound like Roth, the mastermind behind other bloody delights like Hostel and Cabin Fever.

Make sure your schedule your Thanksgiving plans around the slasher and get your tickets for November 17 - in the meantime, here's the long-awaited REAL trailer for Thanksgiving!
