If you’re reading this and were lucky enough to be at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival or Austin’s Fantastic Fest, there’s a good chance you’ve already seen John Hyams’ Sick, an absolute romp of a slasher co-written by Scream‘s Kevin Williamson. Everyone else has been stuck on the sidelines, waiting to find out when the film would arrive.

Well, today brings good news: Sick will hit Peacock in one week, and to celebrate (read: promote) this very last-minute announcement, we’ve also got a brand-new trailer to look at!

Check it out.

As you can see, Sick is something of a COVID-era slasher, with best friends Parker (Gideon Adlon) and Miri (Bethlehem Million) shacking up in a lake house to ride out the quarantine. Trouble is, they’re not as alone as they presume themselves to be, which leads to all manner of Kevin Williamson-style slasher shenanigans.

FANGORIA team members who caught this one at Fantastic Fest had an absolute blast with it, and we can’t wait for the rest of y’all to see it for yourselves … which you’ll be able to do next Friday (the 13th, natch), exclusively on Peacock. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
