Fresh off the Predator: Badlands panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Dan Trachtenberg revealed that a new cut of the animated Hulu movie, Predator: Killer of Killers, is debuting tonight – with a few surprises for fans of the sci-fi horror series.

The R-rated animated anthology, which hit Hulu on June 6, followed three of the fiercest warriors in human history – a Viking raider,  a ninja in feudal Japan and a WWII pilot – as they face off against the murderous Yautja. The original epilogue scene featured Amber Midthunderโ€™s Naru from Trachtenberg's 2022 Prey in what seemed to be cryosleep in a floating coffin onboard the Yautja's ship.

At today's panel, attendees got to see the new epilogue scene that features SPOILERS! Arnold Schwarzeneggerโ€™s Dutch from the original 1987 movie, as well as Danny Gloverโ€™s Mike Harrigan from Predator 2 in their own coffins. It marks the first time the two characters have returned to the franchise in 30 years.

Per GamesRadar, who attended the panel, Trachtenberg said he had breakfast with Schwarzenegger and received his clearance to use his likeness, making his appearance canon in the overall franchise:

Unfortunately, some bits of Killer of Killers  were left on the cutting room floor, but recently, we were able to sneak it back in […] So we wanted to show you guys first what that is. That was Danny Glover and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Whatever the future holds for Naru, Dutch and Mike, we're excited to see them take on Yautja, animated or otherwise. Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands, starring Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatang, hits theaters on November 7. Catch the new cut of Predator: Killer of Killers from 7p.m. PT tonight on Disney+/Hulu.
