Ahead of the Digital and VOD release on July 14th, we are unveiling exclusive new key art for Frankie, Maniac Woman. The slasher is currently sitting at 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Co-written and directed by Pierre Tsigaridis with co-writer and star Dina Silva, Frankie follows Silva as the aforementioned maniac woman, slashing her way through a world that seems to knock her down at every turn.
Take a look at Frankie in all her bloody and masked glory:

It’s Maniac meets Fight Club meets fill-in-the-blank. Proudly drawing inspiration from the likes of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Twin Peaks (no, it’s not “Lynchian”), and all the iconic slashers we know and love, from Michael Myers to Leatherface, blended into something wholly original.
Here's the official synopsis:
Battling against the legacy of childhood trauma, internalized misogyny, and the image-obsessed fat shaming of the LA music business, aspiring singer-songwriter Frankie Ramirez finally snaps, with bloody results.
This is truly independent cinema, all hands on deck, with the director and star handling more than five to six on-set duties each. Frankie is no hero, but I dare you to try to get through this entire movie without rooting for her even a little bit. At a tight 95-minute runtime it is well worth the watch.
Silva took home Panic Fest’s Best Actress in a Feature Film Award for her starring role. Find out why, when Frankie, Maniac Woman lands on Digital and VOD July 14th.
