If you haven’t gotten the chance to watch Julie Pacino’s new horror film I Live Here Now yet, tonight’s your chance. Indie film studio Utopia has announced that they’ll be hosting a live online screening of the film, featuring Lucy Fry, tonight in their exclusive Patron screening room, followed by a Q&A with its director and star.
Serving as Pacino’s directorial debut, I Live Here Now stars Fry, Madeline Brewer, Sarah Rich, Lara Clear, Cara Seymour, and Sheryl Lee, and follows a woman trapped in a remote hotel with the violent echoes of her past. The film’s synopsis is as follows:
In the surreal landscape of I LIVE HERE NOW, struggling actress Rose finds her life upended by unexpected news. She’s suddenly forced to confront a future she never thought possible, just as a major career opportunity with top agent Cindy Abrams comes into view. Things spiral further when her casual boyfriend, Travis brings his overbearing mother into the fold, pushing Rose to the brink. She flees to The Crown Inn, a crumbling motel at the edge of nowhere, where time fractures and reality bends. Haunted by sleep paralysis, splintered memories, and eerie motel dwellers, especially the enigmatic Lillian, Rose begins to unravel. To move forward, she must confront the buried truth of her past that her body has never forgotten.

The screening takes place at 6PM PT/9PM ET tonight, March 18, only on the Utopia Screening Room, a special platform established in partnership with Patreon that serves as a direct to consumer channel for new independent films, live Q&As, and other bonus content that helps connect indie filmmakers with a wider audience. For $5 a month, patrons have access to films for twenty-four hours after the start of a screening, as well as permanent access to the post-show Q&As, discounts on Utopia merch, and more.
I Live Here Now premieres in limited theaters on March 20. For more information on the Utopia screening, check out their Patreon page.
