Rob Zombie fans, we have a special treat for you today in the form of some exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from House Of Rejects: The Making Of Rob Zombie's Firefly Trilogy. Author Dustin McNeill's book takes a deep dive behind-the-scenes look at the making of Zombie's Firefly trilogy. Featuring 342 pages of new insights, details, and anecdotes from the creation of House of 1000 Corpses, The Devilโ€™s Rejects, and 3 From Hell, plus rare set photos and new interviews with cast, crew, and producers. Touted as “the ultimate companion to the Firefly clanโ€™s murderous misadventures.” McNeill sent over some behind-the-scenes shots for Fango readers, as promised, let's take a look at those photos taken by Production Designer Gregg Gibbs.

First up, Rob Zombie and Sid Haig filming the commercial for Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen on Super Bowl Sunday 2001. This was after Universal Studios had dropped the film but before Lionsgate had entered the picture. That's a stand-in for the masked Ravelli, as Irwin Keyes was unavailable on this particular day.

Below: Gregg Gibbs as Dr. Wolfenstein and Rob Zombie as his unrecognizable (and uncredited) hunchback assistant. Rob had originally planned to play Dr. Wolfenstein but backed out on the day of filming. He still snuck into the opening by playing the silent hunchback role.

Finally, the exterior facade for Captain Spaulding's Museum which covers the entrance of a retro diner at the Four Aces Movie Ranch. If you were to have walked through this entrance and turned left, you'd be on the interior set of Red Hot Pussy Liquors from later on in the film.
