Filming has officially wrapped onย Evil Dead Burn, the latest standalone entry into theย Evil Dead series from Infested director Sรฉbastien Vaniฤek.
Currently scheduled for release on July 24, 2026 via Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), and Tandi Wright (Pearl).
Plot details forย Evil Dead Burn, which Vaniฤek co-wrote withย Infested scribe Florent Bernard, remain tightly under wraps, but the director has promised a “nasty” slice of Deadite chaos, calling the pic โa film that hurts, from which you come away tested.โ Uh oh.
Produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapertโs Ghost House Pictures, Evil Dead Burn will be the fifth entry in the Evil Dead franchise following Fedรฉ Alvarez's 2013 Evil Dead remake and Lee Croninโs Evil Dead Rise.ย Cronin will executive produce, alongside originalย Evil Dead final boy Bruce Campbell, Romel Adam and Jose Canas.
Announcing the filming wrap on Instagram earlier today (seen below), Vaniฤek shared a brief snippet from set that involves a helluva lot of blood and some good ol' fashioned smashing ofย something – our money's on a head, or face, or some sort of limb.
Needless to say, hype is high for whatever the Necronomicon holds within its withered pages this time around, and don't forget aside from Evil Dead Burn, we also have ANOTHERย Evil Dead movie in the works from Last Stop in Yuma Countyโs Francis Galluppi, which Ghost House are also producing.
