Late Night with the Devil star and Fango fave David Dastmalchian has joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection, the upcoming Dexter: New Blood sequel series set to premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime later this year.
Dastmalchian, who'll be guest starring as a character known as “Gareth”, joins returning stars Michael C. Hall as Dexter himself, David Zayas, Jack Alcott and James Remar in the serial killer thriller series.
Also joining Dexter: Resurrection are Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa and Emilia Suárez, with guest stars Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter and Eric Stonestreet.
Returning for Dexter: Resurrection are original series showrunner Clyde Phillips, and Marcos Siega as director on the first four episodes. Dexter: Original Sin‘s Monica Raymund will direct the latter four.
Dexter: Resurrection adds another genre credit to Dastmalchian's storied oeuvre, and his upcoming projects also including Dust Bunny with Bryan Fuller and Mads Mikkelsen, Kodak SuperxXX with Kelly Marie Tran, sci-fi horror The Cure and zombie action-horror Epilogue with Kate Siegel.
