Brendan Haley is a filmmaker, producer, actor, art director, and columnist known primarily for his array of work in both the horror genre and LGBTQ+ media. Haley’s notable credits include writing and directing the gay apocalyptic horror feature Scorch Marks on Dekkoo, producing on the Daytime Emmy-winning Netflix series Eastsiders, executive producing The New York Times’ “favorite of the week” The Jessica Cabin, art directing special segments for The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, and serving as the production designer for the prestigious Fangoria Chainsaw Awards on AMC/Shudder. Beyond film/TV, Haley operates as an illustrator, creating original art pieces and installations for clients such as Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme, The Academy Museum of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, Outfest Film Festival, McFarland Publishing, LA Comic-Con, and more. A contributing voice in numerous publications, Haley maintains bylines in The Advocate Magazine, Out, Pride.com, and more.
