After debuting an all-star thirteenth season, American Horror Story isn’t done quite yet. FX announced that they’ve renewed the popular anthology series once again, marking a whopping fourteen seasons for the Ryan Murphy-created project.
This renewal is the first in over half a decade for AHS, having last been renewed in 2020 for three seasons — which many presumed would be its last three, given the fact that this is the first time we’ve seen new episodes in two years. But, given that Season 13 marked the show’s biggest streaming premiere ever, it’s little surprise that the network would want to keep the show going, good writing or not.

As the longest running series in FX’s history, American Horror Story has racked up not only a cult following, but also numerous awards, including seventeen Emmy wins across fifteen years. Season 13 is currently airing, with its final episode airing just before Halloween next week, on October 29.
Season 13 stars a number of popular returning stars, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Angela Bassett, as well as a laundry list of other stars that also includes Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, John Carroll Lynch, Avantika, Frances Conroy, Mat Fraser, Seth Gabel, Orlando Jones, Paul Anthony Kelly, Tig Notaro, Madelaine Petsch, Fedor Steer, Mena Suvari, Zach Villa, and John Waters.
Created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Story is also executive produced by Eric Kovtun, Nissa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Tanase Popa, Crystle Roberson Dorsey, Jennifer Salt, and Tim Minear.
American Horror Story is available to stream now on Hulu.
