Are you looking for something to spice up this year’s Halloween party? Look no further than Hasbro’s latest addition to their long and storied line of board games: Fury of Dracula, a collaborative horror game recently revamped in a new and improved fifth edition.

Built for two to five players, Fury of Dracula turns you into an experienced vampire hunter on the trail of the most infamous monster in history — or the Count himself, if you want to play the bad guy. Players can choose from six characters originally featured in Bram Stoker’s novel, advancing across the board as Dracula, Mina Harker, Van Helsing, Lord Godalming, Dr. Seward, or Jonathan Harker.

While those who choose to play as hunters are visible at all times, Dracula moves across the board secretly, tracking his movement with his own special set of cards and smaller map to keep his trail hidden. (If you’ve ever played something like Letters From Whitechapel, it’s a similar mechanic to that!) But, if a hunter is in the same place as Dracula at dusk or dawn, it’s combat time, and may the most ferocious one win.

Fury of Dracula features Victorian inspired art across its box, board, and gameplay components, including over two hundred game cards, eighty-six tokens, six character sheets, and Dracula’s reference map, all of which feature intricate pen and ink illustrations. The game also comes with an alternate rules sheet and additional plague tokens, which allow for shorter gameplay.

Retailing for $60 USD, Fury of Dracula is available now on Amazon and at specialty board game stores everywhere.
