After a successful run in theaters, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is invading home video. Searchlight has announced that the horror comedy sequel will hit digital platforms next week, with a physical release to come this summer.
Featuring the return of scream queen Samara Weaving as final girl Grace, Ready or Not 2 also stars Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood, with director duo Radio Silence returning to direct before they head for the big guns with The Mummy 4. For those who missed it, the film’s synopsis is as follows:
Still reeling from her brutal escape from the Le Domas family, Grace is thrust into an even more unhinged bloodbath when she becomes prey once again – this time hunted alongside her estranged sister by four rival families, each ruthlessly vying for absolute power and control of the High Seat of the Council.

Digital viewers will get to see the film at home as early as May 5, while those who want to add it to their Blu-ray collection will have to wait until June. But the wait will be worth it, with an extensive set of bonus features diving into the making of the film, including a gag reel and an audio commentary with Radio Silence, Weaving, and Newton.
But the big guns come out with “The Game Goes On,” a four part behind the scenes featurette exploring the nitty-gritty details of bringing the film to life. Part 1, “Written in Blood,” focuses on expanding the story of the Le Domas family for a sequel, while “Casting the Chaos” focuses on building out the families competing for the council’s high seat. “Designed for Destruction” explores the building of the film’s extensive sets and the practical effects used to rain destruction upon them, and “Blood, Guts, and Practical Mayhem” does what it says on the tin, giving viewers a gory look at the literally explosive deaths that make the film so unique.
Ready or Not 2 hits digital on May 5, with a Blu-ray and DVD release arriving on June 16.
