April Fools’ Day might be tomorrow, but Shudder isn’t messing around. The streamer just revealed the rest of the programming for Halfway to Halloween, its annual event that gives horror fans a boon of new films, special events, and more as we wait for the best holiday of the year to arrive.
Previously announced premieres include the Shudder original Dolly, along with Night Patrol, Somnium, and a new remake of Deathstalker. They join the upcoming Last Drive-In special Joe Bob's Wicked Witchy Wingding, the first of four, that premieres on April 26. The streamer will also be hosting their fan-favorite watch parties every Friday night in April — double features include Deathstalker and The Beastmaster, Somnium and Nightmare, Night Patrol and Tokyo Gore Police, and Rawhead Rex and Oddity.

These special events are bolstered by an extensive lineup of new films coming to the platform. Classics like An American Werewolf in London, The Fog, The Devils, Blood for Dracula, Phantasm, and Troll 2 will be arriving on Shudder throughout the month, giving audiences plenty of fodder for a Halfway to Halloween marathon.
But if you want to expand beyond just Shudder, the rest of AMC Networks’ streamers have some equally horrific options for you to try. Dark Winds wraps up its fourth season on AMC+ (which also includes the entire Shudder catalogue) on April 5, while Sundance Now (also available on AMC+) will be host to the gripping psychological thriller The Plague on April 10, following a young boy plagued (quite literally) by bullying at a summer water polo camp.
All these and more join an extensive lineup of exclusive and original programming, which on Shudder also includes titles like the new documentary 1000 Women in Horror, Bodycam, video game adaptation The Mortuary Assistant, and more.
Shudder’s Halfway to Halloween programming begins on April 1. For more information, you can check out their website.
