One of the most acclaimed mockumentary horror movies in recent memory is coming home. Directed by Paul Gandersman and Peter Hall, Man Finds Tape will be available to watch from the comfort of home. Magnolia Pictures is bringing the horror flick home through its Magnet Label on Tuesday, February 24, with a Blu-ray and release, in addition to coming to On-Demand.ย

โLucas Pageโs (William Magnuson) viral YouTube channel โMan Finds Tapeโ features a series of creepy home videos. When he reaches out to his sister, Lynn (Kelsey Pribilski), with surveillance footage of a murder in their hometown, she reluctantly returns to help him investigate the homicide. In doing so, Lynn uncovers a disturbing secret tied to a decades-old supernatural phenomena that casts doubt on whether anyone in town can be trusted. The arrival of a stranger (Brian Villalobos) with destructive intentions forces Lynn to confront her familyโs role in a terrifying legend tied to a deadly monster stalking Larkin, TX.โย
Kelsey Pribilski (Lynn Page), William Magnuson (Lucas Page), John Gholson (Reverend Endicott Carr), Brian Villalobos (The Stranger) and Nell Kessler (Wendy Parker) make up the cast.ย
This movie got a helping hand from some A-list talent, with The Black Phone writer C. Robert Cargill and his wife Jessica Cargill serving as executive producers. Due Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (The Endless) also served as producers, alongside the likes of David Lawson Jr., Ashley Landavazo, Nate Bolotin, Nick Spicer, Aram Tertzakian, Maxime Cottray and James Shapiro.ย
Man Finds Tape played at the Tribeca Film Festival last year as part of its festival run, where it garnered a lot of praise from critics. It initially hit theaters in December following that successful, buzzy festival run but will now be available to a much wider audience.
