Just ahead of the release of Scream 7, original franchise star Matthew Lillard is introducing a brand new kind of keepsake for longtime fans. The star has just announced that his horror-themed distilling imprint Macabre Spirits is releasing a Scream-inspired vodka, featuring the face of the franchiseโ€™s iconic slasher, Ghost Face.ย

โ€œI am incredibly proud to finally introduce Ghost Face Vodka by Macabre Spirits,โ€ Lillard wrote in an Instagram post. โ€œWe wanted to create a spirit that honors the legacy of Ghost Face while standing on its own as a premium, top-shelf vodka. The bar cart just got a lot more killer. Whoโ€™s ready for a drink?โ€ย

The new German potato-based spirit will be available beginning February 9, retailing at $160 USD a bottle. (Quite the price tag for a base spirit!) Not only will fans get the premium vodka when they purchase, but also a limited edition premium box, featuring a signed bottle, custom Ghost Face glassware, a special pin, and a party game called Killer Bash. (This is not expected to last very long when the drink goes up for sale next month, naturally.)

โ€œAt Macabre Spirits, we love creating premium spirit experiences for the horror community,โ€ said Lillard. โ€œIโ€™ve had a long, lovely history with that mask, so getting to work with Fun World to bring the iconic Ghost Face mask into a whole new space felt full-circle. Itโ€™s a chance to give fans something premium, something collectible, and something that tastes incredibleโ€”just in time for me to return to the scene of the crime this February.โ€

Ghost Face Vodka is one of several horror-themed spirits to be released through Macabre, an imprint of Find Familiar Spirits, the distilling company he co-founded. They recently collaborated with popular band Ice Nine Kills for the whiskey Horrorwood Reserve, and released two spirits that come with books of their own: Hell Is Not Mocked, a bourbon paired with a story by Christopher Buehlman, and Rare, Fine & Limited, a special sotol (a Mexican spirit similar to tequila) with a story by Mike Flanagan.ย

Macabre Spiritsโ€™ new Ghost Face Vodka goes on sale on February 9. For more information and to be notified when it hits shelves, check out their website.
