Would you like to see Chuck Norris fighting zombies? What if Vanilla Ice was also in the mix? Well, if you answered yes to these questions, youโre in luck. A new movie called Zombie Plane is going to give us precisely that, with both Norris and Ice playing versions of themselves whilst battling the undead. Presumably, they will be doing so on an aircraft.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film was already shot earlier this year in Australia and was directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Pier. International sales are set to launch at the American Film Market in November. Singer-turned-actor Sophie Monk (Fear Itself, Blood Feast) also stars. The film hails from Australian production company Radioactive and U.S. production company Entertainment Squad. As for the specifics? The brief synopsis reads as follows:
โZombie Plane centers on a secret government organization that recruits celebrities to be undercover agents, who together must save humanity from an imminent zombie attack.โ

Legendary action star Norris will actually be playing Commander Chuck Norris who โmentored and trained Ice into becoming a deadly secret agent.โ They wonโt be the only famous faces aboard this flight as the film is said to be โfull of celebrity cameos, with a โ90s pop soundtrack including tracks by Ice himself.โ The only question that remains is how, precisely, that โIce Ice Babyโ needle drop will be implemented.
Norris, whose credits include Walker Texas Ranger and The Way of the Dragon, isnโt exactly known for his work in horror. Moreover, he hasnโt been acting much at all in recent years. So the fact that he got agreed to do a meta zombie movie is pretty interesting. As for Ice, heโs appeared in several movies over the years including Cool as Ice and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, among others. Again, horror hasnโt really been his thing up to this point though.
โAudiences can expect a wild ride. Vanilla Ice is in his element as a secret agent and Chuck Norris having trained him is excellent and it just works,โ Producer Jessica Butland said. Executive producer and Entertainment Squad founder Shaked Berenson had this to add:
โZombie Plane uses comedy, the zombie genre and โ90s nostalgia as a vehicle, to comment on pop-culture as much as it feeds it, creating unforgettable one-liners and situational comedy โto the extreme.'โ
Zombie Plane does not currently have a release date but stay tuned.
