How to Watch The 2024 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards Online Without Cable

Horror streaming service Shudder offers a free 7-day trial. That means you can test out the service to catch the 2024 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards live, and still have time to explore The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs along with the classic repertoire titles and Shudder originals. Seven days won't even make a dent in the Shudder library, but it's enough to give you a night of live Chainsaw Awards and a taste of why it's worth sticking around!

What Time Are The 2024 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards On?

The 2024 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards will be streaming live on Shudder October 13th at 6 pm Pacific/9 pm Eastern. If you're familiar with the streaming service, you've likely used their live streaming channels: It Came from Shudder streaming Exclusives and originals, Ghoul Log, and Slashics streaming, you guessed it —Slasher movies.

The Chainsaw Awards will be streaming live on Shudder TV. An important note on the live streaming channels: If you subscribe to Shudder through Prime Video, you will not have access to the live streaming options. Shudder TV must be accessed through the Shudder app (or the Shudder website). On the website, you'll want to navigate to “Shudder TV” using the menu bar at the top of the page. When using the Shudder app on your phone or tablet, you'll also be given the Shudder TV option.

If you're using the Shudder app on your TV, you'll be given three live-streaming options: It Came From Shudder, Ghoul Log, and Slashics. Navigate to the It Came From Shudder channel to watch along in real-time with us.

If you can't join us live on October 13th (or if you just want to relive the show), The Chainsaw Awards will be made available on-demand on Shudder across all platforms, partners, and territories beginning Monday, October 14th.

The 2024 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards Sneak Peek

This year's awards show covers a much larger window than usual. Our new October airdate meant we had a lot of ground to cover. We have extended our nomination window to cover releases from January 2023 through June 2024. The First Omen, Talk To Me, and Evil Dead Rise lead the pack with the most nominations in 2024. In total, a whopping 46 movies were nominated this year, and that doesn't even include the non-movie categories! Speaking of non-movie categories, we've added a brand new category this year: Best Video Game.

Our iconic 2024 lineup includes returning host David Dastmalchian and presenters Skeet Ulrich (Scream, Riverdale), Madeleine McGraw (The Black Phone, the upcoming The Necklace), Dewayne Perkins (The Blackening, for which he’s also nominated as Best Supporting Performance), and Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 3).
