Throughout the mysterious marketing campaign for Zach Cregger's Weapons, the time 2:17 has cropped up over a few instances, and seemingly plays an important role in the “multi-story horror epic” –  so what better time to go and see it?

Releasing in theaters nationwide on August 8 via Warner Bros., Weapons stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams (also set to lead Cregger's upcoming Resident Evil adaptation), Amy Madigan, and June Diane Raphael, with โ€œa couple missing namesโ€ still to be revealed.

A vague logline for the multi-story horror epic reveals:

When all but one child from the same classroom mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

The time in question? You got it, 2:17am. While it doesn't seem that any theaters are going that far in forcing you out of your sweet warm bed at such an ungodly hour, New York City's AMC Empire 25 currently hasWeapons early screenings listed for Thursday, August 7 at 2:17pm.

Should you choose to see Weapons at 2:17pm, we're sure nothing creepy will happen. Or your entire screening could mysteriously vanish. There's only one way to find out.
