Midsummer Scream is coming up this weekend, and Universal is bringing some of their most iconic monsters to the party. The studio just announced the merch and experiences it’ll be displaying (and selling!) at this year’s event in Long Beach, with Dracula, the Mummy, and more coming to party with guests as they preview what’s to come for the parks, their merchandise, and more.
The highlight of the Universal booth this year will be meet and greets with some of its Universal Monsters icons, including Frankenstein and his Bride, Dracula, and HamiKuma, the demented little bear that makes an appearance during Halloween Horror Nights. They’ll also have exclusive meet and greets and signings with artists, as well as panels exploring the making of HHN, how Universal creatures their unique collectibles, and the creation of Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas.

They’ll also be hosting a special experience called “Dead Famous,” where fans can meet characters and participate in photo ops that come straight from the halls of Horror Unleashed, bringing them to Midsummer Scream’s Hall of Shadows. Between that and special previews of the new haunted houses coming to HHN this year, fans are in for some twisted treats.
Attendees will also be among the first to view and pre-order special new merchandise inspired by the Universal Monsters and the studio’s other popular horror titles. Merch available at this year’s event will include a new Invisible Man figure from NECA, BoxLunch and Whatever Makes You Happy’s new Universal Monsters collections, Monster High x Universal Monster dolls, Invisible Man-themed Loungefly bags, and new Halloween II Funko figures.
Midsummer Scream runs from August 7-9 in Long Beach, California. For more information and to purchase tickets, you can check out the convention’s website.
