The folks behind undertone have something new for you to listen to. Ahead of the film’s March 13 release, a mysterious new in-universe website has cropped up, advertising the podcast at the center of the film — a perfect addition to every horror junkie’s listening rotation.

The Undertone Podcast website allows users to take a peek at fictional episodes of the show at the heart of the film, exploring just what kind of supernatural phenomena Evy (Nina Kiri) and her co-host investigate. Episode titles include “The Silent Runout,” “The Carlton Annex,” and “The Hollow Tape Incident,” each complete with landing pages describing the stories and detailed comment sections. Whether the information on the website connects at all to the film is unknown, but it sure is creepy.

And that’s not the end of it. If a lucky explorer happens to click on the word “explore” on the main landing page (it appears twice in two different locations,” they’re redirected to a secret page that reveals a special competition. “Hidden within this site are 10 pages,” it reads. “Within these 10 pages are puzzles and clues you will need to collect to complete the game. A limited number of players that are first to complete the game will win 2 tickets to see Undertone in theatres…Good luck.” We won’t reveal exactly how to find the pages, but it should prove to be an interesting experiment…

undertone is written and directed by Ian Tuason, who makes his feature debut with the film he shot in his own childhood home in Toronto. The film, starring Kiri, Adam DiMarco, Michèle Duquet, Keana Lyn Bastidas, and Jeff Yung, focuses on Evy, the host of a paranormal podcast who receives several disturbing audio files while caring for her ill and comatose mother. With the help of her co-host, Evy analyzes the cryptic recordings, inching toward a harrowing revelation that brings mysterious forces forth from within the files themselves.

undertone hits theaters on March 13.
