Horny Sci-Fi Horror-Comedy TOUCH ME Lands North American Distribution

Yellow Veil Pictures will release Addison Heimann's sophomore feature.

Yellow Veil Pictures has acquired North American rights for Touch Me, the erotic horror festival hit from Addison Heimann (Hypochondriac), Variety reports today.

Starring Olivia Taylor Dudley (She Dies Tomorrow), Lou Taylor Pucci (Evil Dead)  and Jordan Garvis (The Lake), Touch Me follows two co-dependent best friends become addicted to the heroin-like touch of an alien narcissist who may or may not be trying to take over the world.

Heimann also wrote the script and produced Touch Me, alongside John Humber and David Lawson Jr., and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (The Endless, Moon Knight) executive producing for Rustic Films.

Following the film's Sundance Midnight premiere and SXSW showing, Touch Me won Overlook Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize for Feature Film, with the jury calling it โ€œsmart, hilarious, unpredictable, gory and emotionally authentic”, and Fango's own EIC Phil Nobile Jr. adding “who knew Lou Taylor Pucci had that dawg in him?โ€

Yellow Veil Pictures' Joe Yanick echoes the sentiment:

โ€œโ€™Touch Meโ€™ is an astounding second feature […] Addison is so playful in his stylistic choices and confident in allowing so many different ideas to bounce around form into a film that is in equal measure funny, sexy, weird, and bloody.โ€

Heimann expresses his excitement, saying he's โ€œadmired Yellow Veil for quite some time and I am absolutely thrilled to be working with them for this freaky little movie.โ€

Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for a release date for Touch Me. Watch this space!
