Thomasin McKenzie (Last Night in Soho, Eileen) and Katie Douglas (Clown in a Cornfield) are set to star in The Rule of Three, an upcoming horror from Smile producers Temple Hill Entertainment and Protagonist Pictures, per Deadline.
The first instalment in a what is set to be a new horror trilogy, The Rule of Three is adapted from Sam Ripleyโs thriller novel of the same name, and will be directed by James Roday Rodriguez (Gravy). Protagonist is launching sales at the upcoming Cannes market.
In The Rule of Three, adapted from a screenplay by Todd Harthan (ABCโs High Potential) and Rodriguez:

Behind the scenes, Deadline confirm that Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey and Isaac Klausner will produce for Temple Hill, with Hal Sadoff and George Berman executive-producing. Dave Bishop, James Pugh and George Hamilton serve as executive producers for Protagonist, in collaboration with Rodriguez and Harthanโs new shingle, Taft Tennis.
