Itโs already bad enough to worry about bears when you go camping in the wilderness, but what about bigger, more terrifying threats lying just beyond the tree line? You can find out in the trailer for The Yeti, a new supernatural creature feature from Well Go USA that hits screens this spring, as a stark reminder not to linger out in the cold.
Written and directed by Gene Gallerano and William Pisciotta, The Yeti stars Brittany Allen, Eric Nelsen, Jim Cummings, Christina Bennett Lind, and Linc Hand, along with genre veterans William Sadler and Corbin Bernsen. The filmโs synopsis is as follows:ย
Merriell Sunday Sr. and Hollis Bannister vanished in Alaska. Ellie and Merriell Jr. mount a search, but an ancient threat stalks their expedition into the wilderness, hunting them as they seek the truth behind the disappearances.
Set in post-World War II Alaska, the film pits a plucky band of rescuers up against one of the deadliest creatures ever imagined, bringing to mind films like Overlord or Brooklyn 45. The Yeti is just one of numerous creature features set to hit screens this year, accompanying previously released films like Primate, as well as upcoming titles like Ulu, Killer Whale, and the yeti-adjacent film Squatch.ย
Well Go USA also has another creature feature under their belt this year, having released Grizzly Night, a horror film based on the real animal attack known as the Night of the Grizzlies. Theyโve also released plenty of other horror projects, including Ghost Train, Traumatika, and Cannibal Mukbang.ย
The Yeti arrives in select theaters and on digital on April 10.
