The Strangers aren’t quite finished with audiences yet. They’re returning to the big screen for one final bloodbath, and FANGORIA is excited to premiere a new trailer for the final installment, as well as reveal that The Strangers — Chapter 3 will hit theaters on February 6 for a bloody Valentine’s Day treat.
Directed by Renny Harlin, The Strangers — Chapter 3 features Madelaine Petsch going up against the iconic masked killers one last time to round out the trilogy, alongside co-stars Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath, Pablo Sandstrom, and Richard Brake. The film’s synopsis is as follows:
In the final film of The Strangers trilogy, Maya (Madelaine Petsch) faces the masked killers one last time in a brutal, full-circle reckoning of survival and revenge.
Madelaine Petsch returns as Maya for the Final Girl’s long-awaited vengeance. Tethered by a frightening conclusion, Maya and the Strangers are locked on an unavoidable, unforgiving collision course — a showdown that proves they’re far from strangers now.
The Strangers — Chapter 3 is written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland, with producers Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Christopher Milburn, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek. It’s the fifth film in the franchise originally created by Bryan Bertino, which began with the film starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. Following the less well-received sequel The Strangers: Prey at Night, the franchise was rebooted with the current Petsch-led trilogy, which comes to a close this winter.
