The Lost Boys are making their way from Santa Carla to New York City. Deadline reports that the in-development musical adaptation of Joel Schumacherโs cult vampire film will open on Broadway on April 26, 2026, with previews beginning on March 27, 2026 at the Palace Theatre.ย
In addition to an opening date, the musical also announced its leading cast, featuring numerous Broadway veterans taking up the roles played by Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Feldman, and the rest of the gang. LJ Benet and Benjamin Pajak will play Emerson brothers Michael and Sam, while Caissie Levy plays their mother Lucy, Ali Louis Bourzgui stars as David, and Paul Alexander Nolan features as coven leader Max.ย
But thatโs not all! The Frog Brothers are set to be played by Jennifer Duka and Miguel Gil, with Davidโs coven being filled out by Brian Flores as Marko, Sean Grandillo as Dwayne, Dean Maupin as Paul, and Maria Wirries as Star. Additional casting is set to be announced closer to the showโs opening date next year.ย
The Lost Boys musical is produced by The Conjuring alum Patrick Wilson, alongside James Carpinello, Marcus Chait, and Devin Keudell as executive producer. The new version of Schumacherโs iconic vamp tale features a story by James Jeremias and Janice Roberta Fischer, book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, and music and lyrics by The Rescues, with Tony Award-winner Michael Arden directing the production.ย
Additional below-the-line creatives for The Lost Boys also include choreography by Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Cree Grant, scenic and video design by Dane Laffrey, costume design by Ryan Park, sound design by Adam Disher, and aerial design by Billy Mulholland and Gwyneth Laresen โ implying we might see these vampires fly right in front of our eyes.ย
