Umbrella Entertainment is giving Thai horror Shutter the 4K UHD treatment for the very first time with a standard release and packed Collector's Edition now available to pre-order for a May 7 release.
Directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom, and starring Achita Sikamana, Ananda Everingham, Natthaweeranuch Thongmee, 2004's Shutter was a box office success in its native Thailand upon release, sparking three Indian remakes and one American, Masayuki Ochiai's Shutter from 2008.

When Tun and Jane accidentally knock down a mysterious pedestrian they flee the scene. But their day-to-day life has inexplicably changed. Mysterious figures haunt Tunโs photographs while Jane is plagued by nightmares. They return to the scene of the accident hoping to find answers but the real secrets remain undiscoveredโฆ they must dig into the past to find the source of the mystery that has engulfed them.
