This year’s upcoming Texas Frightmare Weekend is happening soon, and FANGORIA has an exclusive peek at the films on offer this year. We’re excited to present the full lineup of titles being screened at this year’s event, which celebrates twenty years of the Lone Star State’s biggest and best horror convention.

This year’s offerings are headlined by the world premiere of Models vs. Werewolves from producer Charles Band, director Danny Draven, and featuring horror legend Dee Wallace, with Band appearing at the convention in person for the screening. Also screening this year are The Pitchfork Retreat, the threequel The Barn Pt. III, the 1970s Japanese action film Wandering Ginza Butterfly, and Mitch McLeod’s Marrow

Also on offer is Texas Frightmare’s iconic staple, the Annual Fake Trailer Showcase, which invites filmmakers of all levels to create original horror trailers for a chance to screen before a live audience of passionate genre fans. This compliments a short film block full to bursting with new and original ideas, including Monster Medicine, Laundromat, Fish Is Dog Spelled Backwards, Lunch Ladies, The Relic, and Stalker

Every film in the lineup will be screened in the convention 900+ seat screening room, which offers fans a premium theatrical experience unavailable at any other horror convention. In addition to Band, select other filmmakers and special guests will appear in person for live Q&As, yet to be announced.

In addition to screenings available all weekend, fans will also get the chance to meet horror icons from across decades of film at the convention. Attendees at this year’s event include Tom Atkins, Tobin Bell, Rohan Campbell, Joe Dante, Warwick Davis, Mckenna Grace, Matthew Lillard, and Tom Savini. Plus, guests can pick up an exclusive copy of FANGORIA, available only at the convention!

Texas Frightmare Weekend runs from May 22-24 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving Texas. For more information on the lineup and to purchase tickets, you can check out their website
