We all love a good horror movie, and even more, we love a good horror movie tie-in – which is what we’re presenting to you today. FANGORIA is excited to feature the folks behind the upcoming film Horrified to present the music video for “Lie to Me,” a new song by Terror Jr. featured in the film and starring its gory masked killer.
Written and directed by Michael Zara, with songwriting credits from Lisa Vitale, David Singer-Vine, & Tony Rodini, the music video stars Vitale and Singer-Vine alongside stars like Julie Benz, Jason Behr, and Jay Donnell. Also making an appearance is the Hell Hog, the killer from Horrified. The video’s logline is as follows:
After an argument with her Terror Jr. bandmate David while camping, lead singer Lisa exits the tent to find herself on a trippy B-movie slasher set. A beautiful movie star, sexy body doubles dripping in flannel, and a hog-mask-wearing killer antagonize her. Can she escape this nightmarish horror movie world alive?
“Lie to Me” was written exclusively for Horrified, along with two other songs from their discography appearing in the film. The video features production design by Brendan Haley, as well as cinematography by Adam Biddle, and is executive produced by Srihari S. Naidu, Ben Prozinski, and Nathan Alan Thomas.
Meanwhile, Horrified stars a litany of popular genre stars, including Doug Jones, Ron Perlman, Benz, and Busy Phillips. Also directed by Zara, the film follows a former scream queen returning to the convention circuit, only to find that someone is weaponizing her legacy to spill a good deal of blood, forcing her to fight back for her own survival. The film even features a sneaky little FANGORIA connection, so you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for when it comes out!
