Ryan Coogler's upcoming vampire horror Sinners is already getting the video game treatment, as Warner Bros. unleash Sinners: Survive the Night onto Fortnite later today, Variety confirms.
Launching at at 12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 a.m. PT, Sinners: Survive the Night pits teams of six players against vampires in a survival horror challenge.
Those eliminated subsequently turn into vampires, forcing players to fight against their former teammates in a multiplayer experience. The way to win? Stay alive until daylight, if you're human, and if you're a vamp, eliminate all remaining human players before dawn.
Hitting theaters on April 18, Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan as troubled twin brothers Elijah and Elias, who return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.
Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit), Jack OโConnell (Ferrari, the upcoming 28 Years Later), Wunmi Mosaku (His House, Deadpool & Wolverine), Lola Kirke (Gone Girl), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies) and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods) also star.
Developed in partnership with Sawhorse (Roblox's Wicked RP), Sinners: Survive the Night features likenesses of Jordan and other cast members, as well as a custom map based on the film. Variety detail that the game was developed using Epic Gamesโ Unreal Editor for Fortnite, MetaHuman technology and Fortnite Creative, and will be available to play on Fortnite through April 28.
